A few of our esteemed colleagues in the field of watch journalism (and frequent Twitter buddies) have just gone about releasing a book each. In conjunction, these two provide you with a perfect and balanced look into both the modern history of the indepedent watch, more formally the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI), and twelve modern "virtuosos" in the field.The first book, titled "The Hands of Time", and written by Ian Skellern and Peter Speake-Marin, documents and celebrates the first 25 years of the AHCI.
